As we continue to make our way through the newest crop of LED-based LCD televisions, we arrive at the best value of the bunch, which comes from (surprise, surprise) Vizio. Part of the company’s higher-end XVT Series, the VF551XVT is a 55-inch, 1080p model that uses a full array of LED backlights, with local-dimming technology that allows the LEDs to turn themselves on and off as needed to improve black level.
